Sony Ericsson has launched three new phones, two in walkman section and one in cyber-shot section named W508 Walkman™, W715 Walkman™, C510 Cyber-shot™ on 7th January 2009.
W508 Walkman comes with Shake and Gesture control, SenseMe and TrackID, as well as one extra Style-Up Cover, the phone is built on the Walkman range and W380 Phone, the above controls can be used for enhanced music experience without using the keys, other key features are scratch-resistant 262,144 colour TFT Screen, with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels or 2.2 inches, 3.2 megapixel camera, Up to 3.2x digital zoom, HSDPA(download content quickly with a faster web experience) and 1GB Memory Stick Micro (M2), card, Picture blogging, Video blogging, YouTube, 3D and Motion games, Bluetooth technology, Modem, Synchronization, USB mass storage, Talk time GSM/GPRS: Up to 10 hrs, Standby time GSM/GPRS: Up to 400 hrs, GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS/HSDPA 2100 network support and many more.
W715 Walkman exclusive to Vodafone means advanced wireless technology with a crystal clear audio experience of Sony Ericsson W715 is a successor of W980 Walkman phone, Wi-Fi connectivity allows users to upload their favorite pictures & videos to internet for sharing, W715 Walkman phone will be available in Galactic Black, and Luxury Silver, W715 Walkman comes with SenseMe and TrackID, Screen of 2.4 inches, 3.2 megapixel camera, Vodafone Find&Go navigation service, Geotagging of photos, and supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS/HSPA 900/2100, Bluetooth technology, USB mass storage many more.
C510 Cyber-Shot with Smile Shutter is the first mobile phone powered by smile shutter technology which means the phone can take pictures of a person by detecting they smile the technology is also available as an update to C905 Cyber-shot 8.1 megapixel camera launched in November 2008. the phone has capabilities of detecting face, Auto Rotation, Auto focus and YouTube enabled other features are Screen of 2.2 inches, 3.2 megapixel camera, Video light, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, WayFinder 8 and supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800/1900 and UMTS/HSPA 2100, Bluetooth technology, USB mass storage many more.
